INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1) Requires FluffyModManager to install.
2) Choose one of the variations you want and after downloading, open the rar file it belongs to.
3) You will find a folder with the name of the variant you want; extract that folder into your Mods folder for Fluffy.
4) Use FluffyModManager to install the variant you desire.
     4.5) If you downloaded the "Black Boots ADD-ON", install that after the variant you just installed.
5) Enjoy!

Oh, and I almost forgot. You NEED the Classic Costume DLC for this to work. It is impossible to play this without the DLC. If you already have the DLC but somehow can't use this, try uninstalling all your mods and click on "re-read game archives".

Also, you can see I changed the "numbering" of the variations, or rather "lettering". I just thought it seemed more organized this way :)
I have also added more recolors such as white, red, purple, and pink!

VARIATIONS:

I made, so far, a total of six basic variations. These variations are the main ones. Hopefully in the near future, I get to add more :)

A-1) OG RE3 Style (Full Gear)
       - complete with all gear and holsters, inspired by her original outfit from the original game.

A-2) OG RE3 Style (Less Gear)
       - does not have upper holster but does have the belt and leg holster. So, less gear XD
       - not very immersive for rooms that require flashlight, though.

A-3) OG RE3 Style (No Gear)
       - basically how Jill appears from the very beginning of the original game. So in a way, most faithful and accurate to the original out of my selections.
       - warning, though: gun and knife will float in the air by her leg (where the leg holster was supposed to be)
              - if you want, you could use the "Hide Radio and Knife" mod or use the invisible gear option from a certain mod on this site, I forgot which.

B) Umbrella Chronicles Style
      - almost how Jill appears in Umbrella Chronicles, with full gear but with gloves.
      - technically, should be RE1 Remake style since they just lifted the U.C. model straight out of REmake lol

C) Apocalypse Style
      - inspired by the outfit Sienna Guillory wore in Apocalypse. Which is pretty much the same outfit but without the jacket on her waist.
      - why they removed the jacket from her waist, I don't know, but my guess is it was probably bothersome for her to move around in or something lol

D) Operation Raccoon City Style
       - how Jill appeared in ORC. Now I know some people don't like that game but I kinda enjoyed it haha
       - plus I thought Jill looked pretty badass without the sweater but with gloves. I now realize Sienna Guillory was missing gloves to complete the look xD

E-1) Tank Top Style (Full Gear)
       - tank top and complete with gear.

E-2) Tank Top Style (Less Gear)
       - tank top without the holster.
       - again, not immersive for rooms that need flashlight but who cares? lol

E-3) Tank Top Style (No Gear)
       - tank top without gear at all.
       - fair warning: might have a few clipping issues but not too distracting. Sorry, tried to fix it and gave it my best shot. It is what it is :)
       - if I do manage to completely fix it in the future, I will update it for sure.

F) Tank Top Style (Umbrella Chronicles)
      - U.C. style but with a tank top :)

G) Tank Top Style (Apocalypse)
      - Apocalypse style but with a tank top. duh lol

H) Tank Top Style (Operation Raccoon City)
      - ORC style... you get the gist XD
      - I think this is the best look, honestly. It's my favorite among the tank top variations :D


BACKGROUND:

Hi, everyone! So this might be a little late lol but I remember there was a bit of an outrage when it was announced that our beloved Jill Valentine would no longer wear her costume from the original. I get it, it's impractical. But it was damn well iconic and you know it. Thankfully, Capcom announced that the classic outfit will be available if you pre-order the game. I found that a bit shameful (didn't stop me from pre-ordering though, go figure) and that Capcom used money as motivation to allow us to play her classic outfit unlike just unlocking it in RE2 Remake. But I digress.

What was most shocking however, and yes I will die on this hill, was that Jill was wearing SKORTS!!! Yeah, I know, I know. Us pervy gamers just wanna see some panties, right? Just kidding. I don't care about underwear or whatever, it should've been just like the original where it was an actual SKIRT! But I should've known Capcom would screw up Jill's classic the same way they did Claire in RE2R by not giving her the classic turtleneck back. I mean, I would've been with an actual skort, but I wish the "skirt" part would form around the entire waist than just the front. So I got to thinking...

Then came the onslaught of really cool "Classic Jill" mods that gave her the skirt back. And I appreciate those mods. But for each and every one of them, I just found something I didn't like. Not saying they're awful, they're all great. But that gave me the inspiration to do my own. I actually really like the new cloth tube top she has as opposed to whatever synthetic looking material she had in the original and in RE1 Remake/Umbrella Chronicles. So I decided to do my own version using the best of both worlds. Thank heavens for Resistance for providing us the most faithful classic Jill outfit... in the form of a furry costume lmao

I took the skirt and boots from Resistance, of course, for use in my mod. Remember when I said there's some things I didn't like about other Classic Jill mods? No, it's not 100% the full reason but partly the reason is because the panties are showing. I'm not much of a prude but it was just a little uncomfortable seeing Jill's undies, yet I wanted the skirt! So here's the conundrum...

I decided to give Jill shorts underneath the skirt. That way, I got my wish of having skorts but with the skirt part forming around her waist. So this mod is for those who love the visuals of the new and old, but now they are combined. Also for people who prefer not to see panties when she's wearing a skirt lol also the proportions, I wanted to keep the realistic proportions of the vanilla classic outfit and I don't feel that the current classic mods out right now reflect that.

I'm very proud of what I achieved. I planned this mod MONTHS ago but just kept putting it on and off because I was frustrated with how things went. But the last two weeks, I truly committed and learned all kinds of the modding skills necessary to make this mod happen! And boy, it's quite simple but I'm proud of it.

Sorry for the long post haha just wanted to get it off my chest.

So please, enjoy!!! Let me know what I need to work on to improve this mod. I certainly don't intend for it to be the best Classic Jill mod, everyone's got opinions lol but I do intend for it to be MY best personal mod. Any feedback is appreciated :)
