Your rig may have all the bells and whistles but mine doesn't. I had to resort to low shadows because
I have a lemon. Toying around with reshade I stumbled upon this setup and really came to like it and
decided to share it. I didn't see an option in game for either black and white nor letterbox. I liked how
the shadows were cast and how everything fit into frame so much that I tried it in color and thought
it looked just as good. I also made one more of a 50's Night of the Living Dead with a little grain.
Anyway, I don't expect anyone to use it all the time but I think it is worth a playthrough.

CCH_1 - Default
Crisp and clear black and white. This is what the majority of the screenshots were taken with.
CCH_2 - Night of the Living Dead
A sepia tinge with a grainy filter. Intended to resemble old film like the 50's.
CCH_3 - Color
In color, but has the deep shadow reshade selection.
Borderless Option
All three have a borderless option available
Installation
Each zip file comes with a detailed installation file
What you NEED TO KNOW, even if you are an experienced ReShader, is that in game you should turn OFF Depth of Field and Lens Distortion
You may also want to adjust your brightness to the desired setting. See two screenshots provided in zip file for the default recommendation.
Quick Setup
- Download and install ReShade v4.9.1 or higher
- Select all options
- Extract the .ini file from this mod and place it in the RE3 folder
- In game, turn OFF Depth of Field and Lens Distortion
- In game, adjust brightness to desired result
- Play game
