About this mod

Improves Bolt projectiles to fly faster, further, crit, or increase damage. Change mines to increase blast range and power.

Changelogs
Version 1.1 reduces randomness in shots for all BT mods. Bolts will always hit the center of your crosshair. Also adds bolt/mine damage increasing versions to                               all releases and simplifies descriptions.


BOLT THROWER PROJECTILE ENHANCED

Simply improves the range, physics, and possibly the damage of the Bolt Thrower's bolts + attachable mines. The changes include:
 

Primary Versions

Enhanced :
-Triple Bolt Speed
-No gravity effect on Bolt thrower - bolts fly straight
-increased distance before vanishing

Balanced :
-Double Bolt speed
-half gravity for twice the range
-increased distance before vanishing

Vanilla Variants:
Also benefits from increased accuracy.

-Critical:  Only changes the critical chance of standard bolts. Bolt Physics are not changed.

-Speed:  Raises the speed of the bolt projectiles by 2.5x . Fired projectiles take longer to vanish. Gravity is default.

- Damage:  Multiplies damage of bolts between 3x - 17x.      (DO NOT UPGRADE DAMAGE AT MERCHANT. IF YOU DID SELL BT AND BUY BACK OR IT BOOST MAY NOT WORK)


Plus Critical options: the same as above but also gives you a choice to give bolts a critical hit chance ranging from 5% - 33%. Only choose one main file.
(The default chance to critical hit with Bolt Thrower was 0%)




Damage Increasing OptionsIncludes above changes.
Hardcore:
-  3x base damage of bolt projectiles, and increases chance to slow targets by 30 percent. (Stop is different from melee-able wince.)
*DO NOT UPGRADE DAMAGE(if you do, sell + buyback the weapon, or the damage changes might default.)

Ultimate:
-  5x base damage . Doubles break, wince, and stopping rate.
*DO NOT UPGRADE DAMAGE (if you do, sell + buyback the weapon, or the damage changes may default.)

Agony:
-  x10  base damage.  Brings bolt strength closer to to Krauser's RE4 2004 Bow and the much more powerful Agony Crossbow (Evil Within). Triples break, wince, and stopping rate.
*DO NOT UPGRADE DAMAGE (if you do, sell + buyback the weapon, or the damage changes might default.)




Attachable Mine Modifier Optional File(experimental)

The optional file increases explosion radius moderately for added realism. Can be combined with main file or used standalone.


Mines + Damage Increase Compatibility:
-since damage increasing versions can not have the damage upgraded, compatibility version will increase base explosion radius even more so that it can be used without upgrading damage.

-Includes options to boost base damage from mines 3x-15x - these options are meant to be combined with Damage,Hardcore, Ultimate, and Agony versions.







The mod only alters the bolts fired by the bolt thrower (optional files effect mines), so it should be compatible with almost every other mod.
Overwrite other mods if necessary.






Item adder is recommend for an exclusive ticket if you want to add the exclusive to the damage boosted Bolt Thrower.





COMPATIBILITY:
If you use another mod that conflicts by changing the damage of the bolt thrower, it would be best to either overwrite that mod with this one, or only use the physics / critical damage versions while leaving off the damage changing options.
