Yeha i gave up too, and i even asked about what i did wrong because usually i never ask questions about these sort of things since i already experienced enough with this sort of thing.. also tried to install things in an order that made sense and didnt replace files in the wrong order etc, but nomatter what i do, everytime i launch the game with thi strainer, it crashes, my game is Gold Edition, my game is latest version, the trainer is the latest version, fluffy is the latest version and upto date, i re-read arhieve, uninstalled and installed the game twice, i went to validate steam files, nothing works.. i am guessing this trainer favors different OS or maybe it just doesnt work on AMD GPU ? well i have no idea..
fixed the crashing on launch.. turns out you need to turn of DEP specially for the launcer and re5dx9 exe. That fixed the problem https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AOWtp7-H6QE&ab_channel=TheWindowsClub this YT video helped me fix my issue on how to do it..

Holy hell! Dear AkimboDK, your solution worked flawlessly! Doing that trick with the DEP did the job, I can now launch the game and the trainer at the same time, thank so you much!
So for the Inventory tab, you need to freeze the Item Slot that you want to edit first (just check the box on the specific item slot), then you can change to the weapon you want for that slot, after that you can un-freeze it (by clicking the checked box again), then go back to RE5 and choose "Organize" on any items on any slot on the inventory other than the one that you are trying to edit, so it can update the item slot.
Hope that it'll help anyone who is struggling on how to use the inventory edit mode! :)
i had this issue at first too. if it was working before im not sure what happened, but if you freshly installed you need all the mod requirements, so double check you installed all of them, even if you wont use them. i just added them in fluffy mod manager and activated them, then just open the trainer in the steam folder and that worked for me! this is all on a fresh copy of windows 11 and re5 is updated on steam so i didn't have any old files or anything.
You need version 1.2.0 from Goldberg in order to operate this ultimate trainer! You can't be on the latest patch and not the latest version of the game [not steam version] basically: This mod is for a port of the Games for Windows – Live version that was released in 2009.
sooo. i change my Sheva to Rebecca. freeze it for 2 player... it works good. BUT for some reason Chris outfit freezes too, but i dnt freeze 1 player. wtf? how i can fix it? or it is normal thing?
To anyone kind enough to reply to a few things, I was just wondering if this works on the current version of RE5 Gold, works with online co-op and is it easy to install? Many thanks!
