I wanted to find a way to solve the Lei challenges without trial and error and I came up with this.
-You can go directly to the excel sheet here to enter your Lei and choose your desired goal value. (May not work if other people are using it since it's shared.)

For both cases, just click edit and choose goal value and it should give you the ammo you need to sell to get the challenge complete.
