I just wanted to share my personal mod.
No bloats! This mod just adds 6 new items to Rimworld (3 fish sizes, fish meat, shellfish and crustacean).
Randomized fish textures. 5 different textures per fish sizes (small, medium and
large) to give you an illusion of catching many types of fishes. You can add your own fish textures too!
No .dll just pure .xml for mod simplicity!

- Create fishing spot
- Catch fish, shellfish or Crustacean
- Butcher fish to obtain fish meat
- Cook fish meat to feed your colonists
Update:
- Fishing no longer a hunting work type it is now a handling work type so Slaves and Colonists that incapable of violence are now able to fish
- Corrected the items weight
