I have a deep passion for castles and history in general, and I've been a gamer since the '90s. My favorite games are Fallout, Baldur's Gate (excluding the third installment), and *Dawn of War *that was an immense fun online while same time not taking hours and M&B indeed. I started modding on Warband very lately around 2017. Because of historical researches for Warband mods i ended up being a Scener (the name we use in M&B community for what is a lvl designer in video game industry or what peoples would commonly name a "mapper"); my historical researches were so accurate that i also ended up a Wikipedia contributor where I've written several articles about key figures from the Hundred Years' War. I would like to do more things, like 3D modelling (making castles parts) but i'm just a guy like everyone who need a long time to master new skills & tools. Though I may not be the most skilled modder out there, thankfully, creating scenes in Warband is relatively easy and i encourage anybody who is interested to try it, there's very good tutorials and tools out here right now. I remember when I first tried the scene editor and spent two hours confused, only to return to it two years later with better understanding. Mount & Blade is a fantastic game, and I believe that great scenes are just as crucial to an awesome gaming experience.

On a side note: Nexus have completely ruined their donation point system to advantage big modders so i will slowly but surely remove my mods from Nexus and put them elsewhere. I have won 10$ in 4 years with this system while some "modders" make thousands of downloads with stupids UI, graphical, sound, adult mods or whatever "mods" that can be done in hours. It seems that a M&B Warband scene is not a "high engagement mod" for Nexus for whatever it means. This is very bad and very not motivating. I not make mods for money that would be a very bad idea in fact, but we modders with our free work produce content that highly benefit financially website like Nexus, Youtubers/Streamers (who make loads of videos about mods and let's play) and video games companies by making selling their game. So that's not crazy either we got a little reward. Ironically that's not those who benefit the most of modding that are the most generous with modders.
