Born and raised in Wisconsin, a place not unlike Skyrim (just without the mountains), I've been a devoted fan of the Elder Scrolls series since literally the day I first heard of it- which, not being a PC owner at the time, was in 2001 when EGM magazine previewed Morrowind and blew my mind with the prospect of a video game so detailed and free that it allowed you to steal the forks off of dinner tables.
I feel that the series has slowly lost some of its charm and become simpler and more mainstream in the time since Morrowind, but I'm still a fan of all things Elder Scrolls. I'm on the Nexus because I adore the Elder Scrolls series and have gotten thousands of combined hours of both vanilla and modded games. I feel that both Bethesda and the content uploaders of the Nexus are worthy of thanks.
I also love many other popular video games and am a big movie fan; my collection stands at about 600. Not much of a tv watcher unless it's non-fiction forensics and true crime (primarily the Investigation Discovery channel), though Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad are two of the best shows I've ever seen. I'm an author, former moderator and beta tester of now-defunct game publisher THQ, and have been raising and breeding rats for over ten years.
