Switch location
: /contents/010045301B86C000/romfs/Game/Content/Paks/~mods/
PC location: /{RotS_Game_Location}/Game/Content/Paks/~mods/

For PC version, you need to copy your save data, and it looks like the game will use the new save folder location from there on as long as you use the mod.
Before: /Documents/My Games/Romancing SaGa 2 RotS/Steam/{Steam_ID}/Saved/SaveGames/
After: /{RotS_Game_Location}/Game/GlobalConfig/Saved/SaveGames/

As always, make sure you create a backup of your save files first before using this.

Changelog:

  • 1.0.0: Initial mod upload
  • 1.0.1: Add Manually Control Coppelia V2. This version changes her model and voice to that of her Empress version.

---

This mod enables manual control for Coppelia when having her as a party member, so you can directly command her like other party members.

I recommend only using this on your second playthrough onward though, since having Coppelia auto-controlled by AI is her intended design. Her stats are quite absurd as a controllable party member, basically acting as your second Final Empress.

Note that her tutorial window will still appear the first time you bring her into battle, but don't worry—you'll be able to control her then.

Empress Coppelia has a different model and voice bank compared to her party member version. Her Empress version feels slightly more expressive in terms of model (unless my eyes deceive me), but the biggest difference is in her voice - which is softer and more polite.

Interestingly enough, while searching around to make V2, I found out that all party members have a "solo" version of their voice which I assume only shows up when they're the only party member or when other party members are unconscious. Also, all seven heroes have plenty of action voices available (no voices for glimmer, turn start, etc though understandably). But that does mean swapping voice with theirs is viable compared to, say, NPC like Orieve.
