About this mod
Flix's mods change the character model for the dragon familiar. These patches will restore the appearance from Ice & Blood/Gold Edition. All credit goes to Flix who kindly gave me very clear instructions on how to revert his change and permission to share these patches. *NOT FOR USE WITH ALTERNATE SPELLS*

I commented as much on the Nexus page for Enhanced Edition, and Flix was kind enough to give me these very clear instructions on how to revert the familiar:
"Not to worry, it's simple. In order to change the design for Familiar:
Open scripts/server/creatures.txt
Search for the entry "spell_dm_vertrauter"
Change the line: itemtype_id = 10261,
TO:
itemtype_id = 12712,
This will revert the design from the friendly NPC back to the little dragon enemy clone that the base game used.
This is the best way to change any existing creature design because it preserves the base enemy class, icons, SFX, etc. along with the model."

So, this is just an edited creatures.txt file from each of two of Flix's mods with the proper surrounding folder structure to be dropped into the MODS folder and installed with JSGME after the core mod. Choose the appropriate download for the mod you are running, either EE 3.2a or PFP 1.4. On installation, you'll get a notification about the file in the core mod being overwritten. This is expected and will not prevent removal. JSGME keeps backups. This patch is unnecessary and likely incompatible if you are running EE with the Alternate Spells addon, as that replaces the Familiar combat art with Draconic Ally. It will overwrite any other edit of creatures.txt. At the time of writing, I am not aware of anything else patching creatures.txt from EE or PFP, but if you wanted to merge such a patch with this, it would probably best to make a copy of that mod's folder, remove everything but creatures.txt and surrounding directories, make the edit as described above, then rename the outermost folder to indicate that it is an edit to the original mod, and install with JSGME over that mod. This will keep your edit separate from the mod it is dependent on and help you avoid confusion in the future, even if you don't intend to ever remove it.
Many thanks to Flix for his mods, his assistance in making this minor tweak to them, and his permission to share it.
*I have also uploaded alternate versions that entirely eliminate the wingless model. Use the appropriate one of them if you wish to have the dragon mage's starting island populated by small red dragons matching your familiar, alongside the larger green dragons.*
