About this mod

A mod that changes the visuals of time of day overrides without being further from the vanilla game.

Permissions and credits
The main goal of this mod is to make vanilla-friendly adjustments to the 9 TOD Overrides. There are unedited ones like Noir and Infrared. I just don't see any reason for me to change them. This mod was supposed to be scrapped since this just started as an attempt to fix the character shader bug but I've decided to continue this mod since it had some potential and also because I didn't like how the default TODs looked. The default TODs had this thing going on where they used dark colours for daytime and lighter colours for nighttime. This was probably done due to gameplay concerns but this mod does the opposite and leans toward more on the visual side of things. Take note that I've pushed the colours dramatically (but isn't overkill like the first version) so the experience may differ depending on your monitors calibration.

Mod compatibility: All Versions of Saints Row IV

It is required that you have at least set post-processing to low
in your display options as this mod relies heavily on it.

Installation:

1. Download and extract the archive anywhere you want.

2. Download ThomasJepp's Tools (ThomasJepp.SaintsRow-rev133) from Saints Row Mods: https://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/threads/minimauls-saints-row-2-saints-row-the-third-saints-row-iv-and-gat-out-of-hell-tools.3188/.

3. Inside the archive, is another file that needs to be extracted once again. Drag "Enhanced Time of Day.vpp_pc" to "ThomasJepp.SaintsRow.ExtractPackfile.exe"

4. After extracting the vpp_pc files a new folder will appear on where you put the original VPP_PC file named ""extracted-Enhanced Time of Day.vpp_pc". Move all of its contents to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Saints Row IV\mods".

5. Launch the game.

You might ask why I didn't put the files in a regular zip/rar archive but instead a vpp_pc file. If nexusmods didn't flag my
mod as a virus when I did that, things might have been easier for both of us. So yeah thanks to this website's paranoia.
