Everything scales much more smoothly, consistently, and intuitively. Bows & daggers ain't crap anymore. Heavy armor is now worth a damn. Shields are awesome too. Fashion Salts™ is now a thing. Twisted Heart & Drowned Tome now farmable. Amber Idols less scarce. Spells & prayers reviewed. Carsejaw no longer sucks (so bad).

Can't believe I'm saying this...
PSA: I'm ready (i.e. in the mood) to finally overhaul SALT & SACRIFICE right about now. It's gonna be an absolutely ginormous pain in the ovaries, but such is my martyrdom. This PSA is merely a call to action. I was working with someone on the programming side of things a few months back. We took a looooong break, and that someone has since been MIA.
I've got a 100% working tool that can unpack/repack (a) loot and (b) monsters, so that's all weapons, armor, monster stats/drops, item costs, and runic arts essentially "finished." However, I still need access to (c) dialogue for NPC shops, at the very least. I can also unpack (d) skilltree but not repack it, and it would be useful to tweak starting classes.

Welp, there you have it...
I completely overhauled my overhaul.
Literally hundreds of (unpaid) hours of labor, playtesting, data-mining, spreadsheeting, fine-tuning, and painstakingly fixing everything all over again!
Everything should feel more intuitive, rewarding, and enjoyable now.
CHANGELOG
The changes are too numerous to list (might do it later). For now suffice to say everything has been overhauled and completely rebalanced:
- All weapons, shields, and armor sets - All upgrade and transmutation costs - All enemies stats and loot tables - All prayers and magic spells - All leader fetch quests - All devotion rewards - All merchant stocks - All NPC stocks - And more!*
*including but not limited to: listing every weapon/armor/shield special on the item in question, fixing Conduit of Mind's "locks minimum stamina" description, adding some fluff to Heartspent Ring (it was flavorless), and Rotten Crossbowman and Drowned Marauder getting ears!
Some hints/tips: - Rank up your creed, get more benefits - Browse your local merchant, mix things up a bit - Consider revisiting every NPC as you make progress (Minty, Griggs, Candlelit) - Horseheads for late-game Orders/Skulls, Bola Eyes for Charred/Frozen Reliquaries - And don't forget Fern - Potatoes!
