General description

This mod simply adds backpacks to the game and let you store items inside.

There's actually 3 backpack sizes:
  • Small Backpack (with 3 slots)
  • Medium Backpack (with 6 slots)
  • Large Backpack (with 8 slots)

How to use

To use it, simply :
  • Go to Dan's Hardware and purchase a backpack
  • Once purchased and in your inventory
  • Press "B" key to open the backpack

If you have multiple backpacks, simply hover one of them and press "B" to open the selected one
Installation

  • Download MelonLoader
  • (prefers automated installation as it's very straight forward)
  • Drag the Backpack.dll file into
    steamapps/common/Schedule I/Mods
  • Enjoy

Known issues

I'm working on the following issues that I know, please beware of that following when using the mod:
  • Do not drag the backpack inside the backpack's storage (yes it's weird to do that but it'll just make the backpack unavailable)
  • When switching save, backpack seems bugged, it doesn't spawn in the inventory and is out of stock at the shop.

This has not been tested in multiplayer yet!! Please be aware of possible bugs!

Roadmap

For now, I planned to develop: (by order of priorities)
  • More backpacks sizes
  • Add a 3D render to the player when equipped
  • Ensure that it's working in multiplayer
  • Independent backpack storage (so you can have multiple backpacks to sort items)

This mod is not a malware!! It's not a trojan, here is the VirusTotalvirustotal.com/file/Schedule-Backpack

Versions

Works with the :

  • v0.7.0 version of MelonLoader

Credits

This mod idea came from Tugakit's Backpack mods and I originally wanted to contribute to it since it was open source, but a vulnerability has been discovered and the GitHub repository goes to private.... So I made my own version of it
