More Contraband is a gameplay mod that increases the challenge of Schedule I by making all firearms and the machete illegal contraband. Once installed, any gun you carry whether it's for defense or intimidation it is now considered an illegal item. The same goes for the machete. This means holding, using, or attempting to move these weapons puts you at higher risk. Getting caught with them can lead to consequences depending on your setup and any other mods you're using. It also makes combat less accessible early on, forcing you to rely more on stealth, strategy, or non-lethal methods to stay safe and make money. The goal of the mod is to add a subtle layer of difficulty and realism, pushing you to think twice before arming yourself—and making you plan better for situations where you used to rely on firepower. It’s a small change with a big impact, especially for players who want a slightly more immersive or challenging criminal experience.
