Note: Tutorials in-game have been updated to reflect these changes and other modified mechanics.

Spirit Emblem capacity begins at 25, and can be increased to up to 50 via the 'Karma' Latent Skills.
Regardless of current maximum capacity, Spirit Emblems will always be fully replenished upon resting at a Sculptor's Idol.
As a general rule, five Spirit Emblems within this mod are equivalent to one Spirit Emblem in the vanilla game, in terms of their ability to activate Prosthetic Tools and skills. (e.g. 5 required to activate modded shuriken; 1 required for vanilla shuriken)

All standing, charged, running, jumping and swimming attacks restore 1 Spirit Emblem per hit, regardless of whether it was blocked or Deflected.
Deathblows restore 3 Spirit Emblems by default, and can be increased to up to 5 Emblems per Deathblow via the 'Breath of Nature' Latent Skills.
All unlockable Martial Art attacks and follow-up attacks restore 1 Spirit Emblem per hit; however, projectiles launched as part of these attacks do not restore Spirit Emblems. The 'Mikiri Counter' skill in this category will restore 1 Spirit Emblem when performed, but only if the player simultaneously possesses the 'Shinobi Eyes' Latent Skill.
Combat Arts that do not consume Spirit Emblems restore a variable amount of Emblems depending on their use.
Prosthetic Tools and skills requiring Spirit Emblems to use do not restore Emblems under most circumstances.

For non-basic attacks, the restoration amount is defined below.


No Spirit Emblems:
- Mortal Draw & Empowered Mortal Draw.
- Shadowrush & Shadowfall; initial uncharged and charged thrust.
- Floating Passage.
- Spiral Cloud Passage.


1 Spirit Emblem:
- Whirlwind Slash; both slashes.
- Nightjar Slash & Nightjar Slash Reversal; forward jumping slash and retreating slash.
- Ichimonji & Ichimonji Double; uncharged attack and follow-up attack.
- Ashina Cross; both slashes when performed without sufficient Spirit Emblems.
- Senpou Leaping Kick & High Monk; combo attack strikes 1-6.
- Praying Strikes & Praying Strikes Exorcism; uncharged strikes and aerial strike.
- Shadowfall; both falling slashes.
- Sakura Dance; all spinning slashes when performed without sufficient Spirit Emblems.


2 Spirit Emblems:
- Ichimonji & Ichimonji Double; charged attack.
- Dragon Flash; uncharged attack
when performed without sufficient Spirit Emblems.
- High Monk; combo attack finisher.


3 Spirit Emblems:
- Dragon Flash; charged attack when performed without sufficient Spirit Emblems.
- One Mind; initial slice, and follow-up heavy slash when performed without sufficient Spirit Emblems.
- Praying Strikes Exorcism; charged body slam.
