The thing that this mod removes is not actually a hood, but I have no idea how to call it. There are two versions: One removes the cloth, other removes both the cloth and mask. Scarf stays on during... game...
There is already a mod that removes only the mask by HandsomeLuke if that's what you are looking for
It seems to be compatible with this beard mod by ApolloHoo. I have no idea how, since the Ashina head model has full head in it, smooth cheeks included, but I'm glad it works
To install just drop fc_m_0220.partsbnd.dcx into mods\parts folder.
