Start with Mibu Breathing (Diving) enables the Mibu Breathing Technique from the start of the game, allowing Sekiro to dive underwater naturally right away.
This has only a minor impact on Sekiro's intended game progression, as you are still required to visit Mibu Village to acquire the Shelter Stone.
You can access some areas early but I do not believe this can lead to soft locks or major sequence breaks.
Installation
Just copy the params folder into your mods folder.
Requires Sekiro Mod Engine.
Merge Instructions
This mod is extremely simple, and if you want to merge it with other mods, I recommend following these steps:

Merge Instructions
This mod is extremely simple, and if you want to merge it with other mods, I recommend following these steps:
- Instead of the normal export/merge process, we will set the param manually.
- In smithbox open your final file that you would normally Import into.
- Find ActionUnlockParam in the Param editor
- Find the first row with ID 0.
- Click into this and check "Unlocks Diving"
- This will add Mibu Breathing to the default player unlock state, giving it to you from the beginning of the game.
- Save your params as usual and you are all set!
- Reminder - these steps are only for users who want to merge with other mods. If you only want this mod, just install the param file into your mods folder like normal.
