About this mod

The perfect game save if you want the Blue Heron and lots of other outfits available already at the start of the game.

I was looking for a specific save file for Shadow of the Tomb Raider. I couldn't find one, so I made on myself and uploaded it so others can share it too.

PS: Apparently, some outfits are missing. They show up as blank in the outfit section in-game. I thought it was just a visual bug first, since there are so many other outfits available. But I'd say the most important outfits are available anyway.

The mod includes:

  • Blue Heron outfit + MANY MORE (almost all)
  • Difficulty: ALL DIFFICULTIES
  • Starts at first campfire
  • "New Game" (NOT New Game+)
  • No skills unlocked (except Deadly Obsession, which I mistakenly added a few skill-points).

Instructions:
  • Place the contents of the .zip file into the save location folder.
    For me, that is
    C:\Users\G750JM\Documents\Shadow of the Tomb Raider\76561197960267366

When I was looking for other uploaded save files, the only saves with all outfits unlocked were "New Game+". The problem is that those have 100% skills etc unlocked as well. For me, the game doesn't feel as rewarding when I can't progress by unlocking skills and other things. I just want to play a fresh save with certain outfit mods.

If you're curious how I managed to do this. I had to get an older version of the game (I used v292 to be specific) to be able to use a CheatEngine script. The script lets you unlock all outfits and also other things such as GodMode, NeverReload etc... I have both v292 and the newer version of the game installed on the same hard drive. When you want to switch between the two game versions, all you have to do is to rename the game install-folder to "Shadow of the Tomb Raider". So that's all I had to do -- change the name of the v292 folder to "Shadow of the Tomb Raider" (make sure to also name the other version to another name, so they don't both have the same name), then I played until first campfire, saved, and then switched back the names of the two game folders.

The CheatEngine script included other cheats as well as the outfit cheat. If you want to try it out yourself, you can find it here. The file is attached at the bottom of my post there.

Hope whoever finds this enjoy! Please feel free to drop a comment if you feel like I should add something to the mod.
