Notice: The voice line edits in this mod use game dialogue spliced with AI generated voices generated from ElevenLabs. The AI part in the final mod consists mostly of individual words, letters or syllables from an AI-generated, modified version of the voice line that were manually spliced with the original file. This allows the voice dialog edits to sound nearly seamless. A version with just the text edits can be downloaded per user preference.
This mod was hosted on GameBanana. However, the voice edits were taken down due to having game files being spliced with AI generated lines. I do not wish to disrespect the the voice actors in question who worked on this game, and I am a fan of their work. However, my stance on the matter is that voice files are a type of game asset like any other, the same as a model or texture. Using an external program to edit game assets is kind of the core of what game modding is. AI definitely has the potential to be misused - we're already seeing that with many corporations who believe it can replace artists or voice actors (it cannot, nor should it). Changing words or letters in a line of dialogue to refer to the person being addressed as a different gender is not one of those misuses.You can cause harm through non-AI spliced dialogue as well - what matters is the dialogue's purpose and intended use.
This is all I will say on this matter - any comments seeking to debate the morality of AI-generated content in this mod or in general will be hidden.

There's several mods out there that change the protagonist's human and Nahobino forms into a woman, as well as their voice, but all the dialogue still refers to them as male. So, I decided I want to fix that!
Mod features:
- All voiced dialog referring to the protagonist as male for both Canon of Creation and Canon of Vengeance has been replaced. This took a ton of time and effort, and I didn't originally think I was going to be able do it. Thanks to my everyone who listened to my audio editing rambles while I worked on this for putting up with me!
- All text-based dialogue referring to the protagonist as male has been changed to refer to the protagonist as female. This includes: Menus, tutorials, missions, subtitles, main quests, demon level up, battle and demon haunt dialogue, etc. There are still some areas that need polish, but all of them have been changed.
- Demon dialog has been tweaked to better suit a female protagonist. Many flirty or romantic comments from female demons have been been made platonic or rewritten entirely. Some male demons may be a bit more flirty (Incubus, for one). The tone is intended to match Atlus's, just with inverted gender.
This mod only changes the game's dialogue and voice lines. I recommend the following mods as essential companions to this one, to change the Nahobino's models and battle/skill voice.

Known Issues:
- Cutscenes will still show/refer to the protagonist as male. Nothing I can do about them.
- Yuzuru's response to you selecting you don't want to walk home with him has bad lipsyncing. I actually discovered recently (thanks to Algo) that the lipsyncing changes dynamically based on the voice line, so it should be good for all other lines. I intend to redo the scene at some point
- Hayataro, Zeus and Khonsu's voice edits suck. I have to replicate all the demon voice effects manually, and I just couldn't figure theirs out. They only have a few lines, so it'll likely be something we just have to bear with.
- Some dialogue lines may have formatting issues. If you spot any, let me know.
- I likely missed some dialogue files or voice lines. There's a ton of them. As above, if you spot any, let me know.
Installation:
Just drop the pak file in your SMT5V/Project/Content/Paks/~mods folder, creating it if it doesn't exist.
Compatible with Demon Expansion, Form Select, mods that edit skills, demon names, shop contents, etc. This mod only touches existing localization data, not any actual gameplay-related files. Any mods that add new localization entries or that use unused ones will be compatible. Any mod that edits english localization text files may conflict for those files only. Mods that edit models are fully compatible.
I tend to hyperfixate on mods for a bit and then not look at them for a while, so if/when that happens with this mod, whoever wants to take up the mantle has full permission to.
I only speak English so I will only be maintaining an English localization. If someone wants to take on the herculean task of doing a translation, go right ahead. I'll buy you a fancy coffee or something.
