This extension adds Black Myth: Wukong modding support to Vortex Mod Manager.
The Steam version of the game should be automatically discovered. Other versions may need to select the install location manually.
This extension will automatically download and install the UE4SS and Signature Bypass mods during setup. If you don't want to use either of these, simply Disable the mod. Do not Uninstall it or the extension will automatically download and install it again.
UE4SS LogicMod (Blueprint) Mod Authors - You MUST include a "LogicMods" folder above your .pak file in order for this extension to install the mod to the correct location. Without this, there is no way to differentiate between LogicMod paks and regular pak mods.
Mod Installation Notes:
For upscalers, reshades, and other mods that need to be next to the game executable, please use the "Binaries (Engine Injector)" mod type. This is also currently the default mod installation path.
Config files will be automatically installed to the correct Local AppData folder using mod type "Config".
Save files will be automatically installed to the game folder using mod type "Save".
UE5 Pak mods will be installed to the correct ~mods folder automatically.
Mods intended for the game's root folder will be automatically installed as mod type "Root Game Folder".
The UE4SS mod will be automatically installed next to the game's executable.
The Signature Bypass mod will be automatically installed next to the game's executable.
UE4SS Script mods will be installed automatically using mod type "UE4SS Scripts".
UE4SS LogicMod (Blueprint) mods will be installed automatically using mod type "UE4SS LogicMods (Blueprint)".
============================================== Epic versions will not be automatically discovered or launch the game properly until I receive some information about the game that is only available after installation. If anyone can follow this guide and let me know the Epic Games ID (AppName), that would be very helpful!
