The young man didn't care for the lizards company one bit. Ever since they met near Riften, the robed greyscale had scared him, but Perry wasn't showing it. At least he hoped so, but he couldn't be sure because the argonian often gawked at him with a look that made him feel awkward and exposed. Perry had told him he meant to leave for Riverwood himself. The argonian - Among-the Hist was his funny name - wanted them to travel to Helgen. Rumors of sighted dragons had got the fires burning in the lizards reptile eyes. Who wanted to willingly search such a horrifying creature? The morning air felt almost soft as if a thin blanket of dew surrounded them. The day had a strange light as well. Not foreboding, just different...
His thoughts got interupted by that dull hissing voice;
"I saved your life, you know..."
Perry stopped, and the very moment he hesitated, he knew he was still under the argonians spell...
