Talk to Lydia when she is assigned to you as a Housecarl in Dragonsreach after defeating the first Dragon at the Watchtower.

Take Lydia to see Adrianne outside Warmaidens in Whiterun.  Note: you can only speak to Adrianne OUTSIDE Warmaiden's during BUSINESS hours. (8am - 5pm)

Adrianne will give you a note.  Read the note.

Travel with Lydia to Darkwater Crossing.  Speak to Annekke Crag-Jumper.  Annekke gives you a shipment of ore.

Talk to Lydia about what's on her mind.

Take Lydia some place beautiful and private for love making. That's a Role-Play opportunity, really you can take her anywhere, she'll be happy.

Return to Adrianne in Whiterun.  Note: you can only speak to Adrianne OUTSIDE Warmaiden's during BUSINESS hours. (8am - 5pm)

Speak to adrianne then watch a scene between Adrianne and Lydia.
