Well, if any of you two wizards conjures up an esp/esm with JUST the textures, I'll let my ENB take care of the lighting. I find it a great pity that the designers didn't release the textures as optional files, or let the weathers function just like the vanilla weathers. Well I haven't actually looked at it yet... but I thought I'd spread the word in hopes that some people I knew would look at it. Both you and anaphiel have told me quite some interesting things already, and I'm a lot less hyped than I was... sadly.
I should have known something crafty is going on... Thanks for revealing your magic!
Incidently, I too gave Climates of Tamriel a quick spin after midhras hinted at it but quickly came to the same conclusion as you. It's probably possible to integrate it to a setup, but it will require quick a bit of fiddling that I wasn't prepared tackle at least for now.
@artem1s The bloom being so intense definitely helps distribute the color, but a lot of this weirdness you've noticed is the result of the Helgen Attack Weather image-space modifiers. You see, I sort of tricked you by changing out the default clouds and replacing them with these. Climates of Tamriel is a lovely mod, but as a package I haven't figured out how to get it to play nice with my ENB...so I use it mainly for texture replacement.
@midhras The sky does look quite nice with those large cummulus clouds on the horizon. I still find this place incredibly awkward to screenshot since it's kind of shaped like pit and the gradient is just enough to make it impossible to get a nice level shot save from a few choice angles. I suppose I could shoot from under the ground, but I'd need to disable a bunch of stuff, including grass.
Oh midhras, since when did you play the game? I think I have to break out mine map...
If possible, the shot looks even better on a second look. The tree, the distant clouds + the way the campfire blends with the sky is simply astonishing. And of course, the most unique and stylistic config ever.
I bet artem1s has never actually found this tree in his game. Keep looking! I totally adore the use of colour here. It all comes together perfectly, and the way that sky looks is just heavenly.
