About this image

The meeting at Alvor's place proved to be much more profitable than I thought it would be. I had full access to his home including a bed and I could take supplies, within reason of course. The only condition was that I tell the Jarl about the dragon and ask for soldier for the town. It was an easy request as the Jarl resided in Whiterun an important trading city. Hadvar urged me to joined the Imperial Legion which was working to put down the Stormcloaks who were rebelling. From what Hadvar told me the Stormcloaks were the pet projects of a power hungry man called Ulfric Stormcloak. I told Hadvar I would, consider this proposition though I made no promises. I escaped back into town heading towards the Riverwood trader. Hopefully they had the supplies I needed.

Luck it seemed was not on my side today.

When I entered the store a brother and sister argued in regards to something had been stolen. I waited patiently for them to finish which they did upon seeing me. The brother was quick to ask for my help which I barely listened to much more interested in wrapping this up so I can trade. Apparently his prized possession, a golden claw ornament was stolen from his store. If I acquired it back from the bandits who took it he would compensate me with gold which I needed. A part of me wondered if every trader I would meet in Skyrim would demand a quest or problem solved before trading with me. So far the two merchants I'd met were following that trend. With my arms crossed and a deep sigh I agreed to the job and silently prayed that this wouldn't take too much of my time.

Still tweaking my shadows which are still too dark in some places. It's a learning experience which is both fun and frustrating rolled into one. The base for this is Matso's Skyrim Visual Immersion III at: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/15050 which I love to use.
