Hehe yeah pretty much, after about the first 100 (yep no joke) manga chapters or episodes of the show you would understand it a little bit. Lots of insider stuff^^
Basically it says she uses strong Fire and Wind.... Magic of some sorts. And she has a very strong...uhm, Eye Magic Technique some of her clan members can use. And she disappeared in a world war about 60-70 years ago.
