   id like to start making some weapons so i want to ask... what program do i use for making meshes?

   "Horrible" isn't the word I'd use to desribe these textures, btw =] I personally just think a tiny tweak will make the texts more realistic and fit Skyrim better -
   
   Go into photoshop and tweak the saturation down a bit. Select the "stone" color with either select color range or magnetic lasso, then try a sharpen + increase to contrast to bring out the porous stone texture. Cool nordic barbarian looking hammer, though. I love em!
