maybe a differnet wing design, like this one, will allow the longer wings without the clipping errors?

I took a little break from the new armour mesh I'm making, which is coming a long nicely thank you, to take a stab a designing some vampire lord wings that are longer but don't suffer from clipping issues and are better proportioned. The image shows the comparison between my design and Grimoas's. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this mesh yet, I might finish it off and upload it as a mod myself or put it up it as a modder's resource.

Any suggestions for improvement are welcome.
