   He started off as a mage, but then I got a crossbow in Dawnguard and turned him into an archer. I just dress him like this because enemies never get close enough to hurt me anyway, so I don't think the type of armor I have on will make a difference at this point.

   Oh, now I see. It's his warrior look that confused me. I'm not used to see altmer warriors, only mages.
