About this image

After completing the side quest "Healing a House" in the Dragonborn DLC, I have encountered an extremely annoying glitch where these bats, or bugs or whatever CONSTANTLY fly around my character. I have tried searching for a fix, and this has not been mentioned anywhere at all. I believe these are the bugs that surround the spriggan earthmother, but, I don't know if that is any kind of help. If any of you could help me with this, I would be grateful. Also, it appears that this character in particular has frame rate drops and large delays in saving compared to any of my other characters. And lastly, on this character, going to Solstheium completely lags like no other, and it has never done this before. Like I said before, any help would be nice.

Might be like the Ice Wraith glitch where the magic effect somehow connects to your character. The way it fixed was to use the console and add the effect/spell then remove it. Of course you would need the spell ID. It does look like the Spriggan effect, I hope this was some help to you.

I have no idea how it could be the ice wraith effect, especially since this character hasn't been near a single ice wraith in a really long time, But I could try it, thanks for trying to help me out.

I was using it as an example not saying its from the Ice Wraith but a similar glitch.

Well, I went ahead and tried it anyway, but no positive results. This effect specifically happened right after I soaked the roots into the water in whatever cave it was in the "Healing a House" side-quest in the dragonborn dlc. I thought it would be something that would be lost at the end of the quest, but it has stayed forever.
