...On to what this image is actually about. This is a experimental attempt to merge two mods together that I'd like to use - Realistic Transparent Glass Armor and the WIP glass weapons/armor retexture from aMidianBorn Book of Silence. By altering the alpha of the Book of Silence texture to include edits from Realistic Transparent Glass (editing as needed to fit the texture better), I got this as a result. Thanks to Neovalen for showing me Realistic Transparent Glass - otherwise, I wouldn't have done something like this.
Feedback is welcome on the armor. Note: Ignore the weapon - it's not modified yet by the WIP glass armor retex. Also, I am not going to be releasing this publicly yet - I will ask the authors of both mods to see their feedback on this.
And before you ask: No ENB was used at all to make this screenshot. I don't always use ENB, but when I do, I use Skylight ENB.

can have color variations ,basically green and tending to cyan often... but not transparent
That being said, it isn't out of the question to make something mostly opaque, but still has some translucency. Mostly, this revision is just matching the changes made by Realistic Transparent Glass.
