When he was just a boy Vin watched his mother become a slab of meat by the foresworn. He watched as their Hag Raven slowly mutilated her corpse. She went after Vin but he managed to escape. Unfortunately he escaped with one bad eye and poison running through his veins. He works at the Mines in Dawnstar now. It may not be the life his mother envisioned for him. But it puts food on his table. But when Vin starts hearing rumors of something big going down he can't help but to set out and see for himself. Who knows? Maybe Vin will find his true calling...
