About this image

Arvor Qahnaarins journey is finally over. After having destroyed the Vampire Lord Harkon with the help of the Dawnguard and sadly contracting Lycanthropy. And after having killed and destroyed Alduin after a long struggle, which resulted in the re-construction of the ancient Blades, becoming Thane of Whiterun and the ongoing skirmishes against the Thalmor. The rise of a powerful mage that was actually an other dragonborn named Miraak, and the brutal conclusion of the civil war between the Imperials and the Stormcloaks. The end of our hero's journey was finally approaching. But not before he committed "The Slaughter of Solitude" which was caused by the beast that resided within him, he fled and went underground. With the help of the Thieves Guild they erased his past and Arvor Qahnaarin was dead, or a ghost, or held captive by the Thalmor, no one knew. He returned as The Red Hood and became one of Skyrim's most terrifying thieves and criminal masterminds, resulting in him becoming a nightingale. He had rebuilt Helgen and joined the Dark Brotherhood as his new identity, Derov Leonis. And together with the help of Marcus and Valerius and the Dark Brotherhood after having discovered that the Empire was actually the source of corruption and evildoing not the Thalmor. They systematically destroyed the empire and their lackeys the Thalmor with the resulting death of the Emperor himself. And most importantly, with the help of the Companions, Derov (Arvor) found a way to cure Lycanthropy. He was tired, he was old, and it was time to rest now. The old elf, once a cowering drunkard from Falkreath found a will to live again and sought the world and all its adventure. He became a hero, a villain, a thief, a warrior, a symbol of hope in a terrifying and hopeless time. But now it was over and the end of an era had came. The world did not end, it endured. And it was all thanks to our unsung hero, our savior. Now come the days of peace. Arvor Qahnaarin lived his remaining days in Helgen as the towns herbalist and hero and passed away during a swift sunrise at a winter's morning.

After 317 hours of playing, I think it's finally time to give Skyrim a rest. I will return, but not any time soon. Arvor Qahnaarin was my third character and (for now) my last.

Tidings,

Njits.
