A mechanical mudcrab model I made for fun using 3ds max 2012. I will be either releasing it as a modder's resource and/or making a creature pet mod with it. It's all made out of assorted default Dwemer meshes. Keep in mind that the textures are just vanilla stock textures at the moment that I threw on there for testing's sake.
The main thing I need to do is hand paint weights onto the body - it completely freaks out in-game and tears like crazy! I need to remove weighted points in places where mudcrabs move their fluid flesh, as metal shouldn't be moving! :P

Canned crab?
Nicely done. Always wondered why there wasn't more Dwemer "experimental" creations.
You'd think that they would have tried a lot of designs based on the the local wildlife during their time.
