Two versions of the aquamarine ring I'm working on for CCOR / Immersive Jewelry. On the left is my standard facetted gemstone shape, on the right is a new, smooth cabochon with a subtle sparkle inside.
I think I am liking the non-facetted versions better, especially on that Amber one.
Diamond, Sapphire, and Rubies, I think maybe the facetted ones would be more to my liking maybe.
You would not think it would matter really, but I think due to the Excellent work you are doing on these the difference is striking depending on the stone, just as it is in real life, Great Job.
Thank you for your nice comments, I appreciate it a lot
I'm not really in charge of how these rings will be implemented in the .esp, I'll just send them to the authors of CCOR / Immersive Jewelry when I'm done (and maybe upload them as modder's resource for anyone else who wants to use them). They can decide which version (facetted or cabochon) they want to use, or maybe they'll use both.
Personally I prefer the cabochons, but maybe that's just because I've grown bored with the facetted cut.
