After tearing the model apart again and making an entirely new UVW setup for the blade, I decided since it isn't restricted by the size of the rest of the texture, to do some more detailed Damascus and inlaying. Then of course, I had to test it out...

    Will that yataghan be part of a future update or is it a personal weapon?

      Yeah, the yataghan will be in the next update... unless I decide to throw together a patch to add it and the new Ottoman bow. I still need to redo the handle textures. They are still based on my previous yataghans, and I want to do something different with this one. I had wanted to get both this sword and the bow in update 1j, but it just didn't happen. I also have a Naga tribe head hunter's sword that I didn't get finished yet too. Getting the coarse ground metal on the blade has been proving to be a serious pain lol.
