   Used to happen to me all the time. I told my computer to give Skyrim all it could and not cap out early and it fixed the problem, failing that, quiting and reloading was my only other soluition.
   Look around, someone on the nexus has a great tutorial on how to tweak the system to stop this from happening... Try looking through the graphics mods, it's to do with fancy stuff in the control pannel. If I had a better memory and better tech savy, I'ed know who it was, or what it was they said to do... Best of luck.

   Hoho, Skyrim cuts off when it peaks at 1.2 Gb to 1.5 Gb... Its frustrating when ingame, I save often just incase.

   It's almost as if only the normal maps are showing.

   I don't think you need more RAM skyrim only needs half a gig.
