Imperial Helmet Retexture

Isn't he a lovely model?

This is the retexture for the basic Imperial steel helmet. I tried to add some details to make it look a little more Roman style, and also more stylish, but also keeping a rough utilitarian look of army equipment.

Next I will be working on the officer helmets, and then the sword. Last will be the shields and then I think I will finally be done.

Unfortunately, work has been suspended on this project indefinitely. Sadly there are no longer plans to release these textures for the foreseeable future.

    Is the closed helm included in the officer helmets? This helmet looks great btw I'm so ready to download this. I have a question about the sword and shields, will you model the sword to resemble the Gladius or just retex. it? and same with the sheilds will the be more like the Scutums or just better looking versions of the originals? Really great work. Keep it up

      Sorry for the many-month's late reply, but to answer your question, sadly no there will b e no remodelling. It's because I don't have the tools or the knowledge to do this, so there will only be retextures of the sword and shields.

      I will do what I can to homage the scutum in the shields, however.

    Looks great! I feel like your work should get more attention. I've always loved the look of the imperial legion in Skyrim and I appreciate your attempt to balance the original intent of the armor design (e.g. Akaviri symbols) with some Roman flair ( e.g. engravings and gold trim/decorations). I eagerly anticipate the full release

    P.S. I know it's kinda early but...do you plan on making a default clothes version? It just that seeing thick brown clothes under the red tunic looks a little bit strange to me.
