About this image

"What? You think I bought this armor? Nope. A few dragons were convinced to give me their bones and scales for this. Forcefully." - Kid Ayumi

She's been dragon slaying since before you hit High School.

Anyway, I've been tinkering with RSChildren. Eagle-eyed viewers might notice a few things that you normally can't do with RSC:

Wear any armor. (PlagueHushs' Armor and Clothing for Kids does the same thing, but my way is compatible with every armor/clothing/weapon mod ever. Mostly.)  Though I did tell PlagueHush about this and he should be doing something with it soon.

You can't really tell with this shot, but I'm running Dual Sheath Redux successfully with RSC. I did this by re-scaling and re-naming the XPMSE Skeleton for RSC. I've already released that one.

Race recognition in dialog. Now Nord guards call a Nord kid "kinsman", that one dark brotherhood quest doesn't break anymore, Imperial kids will earn the ire of most Stormcloak aligned guards (only in dialog, though), etc etc. This one is a bit more nuanced.

I swear I've performed more upkeep on RSC that my own mods at this point. All to look like a dragonslaying badass.

I guess a little girl that uses dragon bones and scales for her weapons and armor isn't a crowd pleaser.

Oh well, still great to run around as a Dragonborn kid.

Edit: Oh, the arrogance that this gives off with a re-reading.

Though PlagueHush did indeed adapt my method. So, maybe some of that ego makes sense.

I like her glasses. They are cute. To poop with lore-friendly. I should try making a playable child. But. OMG. What is it like?!

P.S. They should just hand over RS Children to you. For all the help and work you do with it. She's obviously gone AWOL.

It's not really all that different. As far as the game knows, you're just a short Dragonborn.

There might be some problems but a good load order and some time in T5E can fix them. Though you do need to use Armor and Clothing for Kids to wear any armor.

This also carries the side effect of being able to wear almost every armor/clothing in the game, like Fur, or Vampire, or the Amulet of Mara. (Having adults ask kids about marriage is so awful it doubles back to hilarious. I've never said yes, though.)

Also, since the kids were never meant to be in combat, they have no voice when using power attacks and shouts. Although the shouts thing can be a blessing.
