      I personally like this hair better as well. Seems more fitting and the cute wildflowers add a nice little touch to the one-with-nature side.

    Beautiful little story to go with these lovely shots. I love how you're branching out (pun! ) and doing gentle and benevolent creatures as well as the mistresses of the daedric realms!

    Very interesting and beautiful story, with equally beautiful shots! It is great idea to add Nymphs to the world of Elder Scrolls! It is very endearing that unlike aggressive, vengeful spriggans these lovely beings represent more peaceful side of nature. and the story about first nymph was very touching, although sad too, given how calmly she accepted her demise.

      Thank you dear !! If succubus/Incubbi can fit nicely into the Elder Scrolls world, surely Nymph could to ! They are like the gentle counter part of the Spriggans. Though I could also imagine Spriggans acting as guardians to the peaceful little Nymphs in certain areas. A selfless sacrifice, only desiring for the others to be saved. Her memory being honored by the tree that grew were she fell. A tree that can heal many things magic cannot...but only to those who have the same purity of heart as the first nymph.

    Well done! a mythology reborn. I have to say that the horns are a bit off-putting for me because with many species only the males grow horns so I found them a little incongruous. But it is a small issue. Loved the backstory, keep up the good work

      Thank you ! Hm for the horns, I'm fully aware that alot with a species only the male grow them. But taking this onto the world of Skyrim, and taking a brief look away from animals there are spriggans, whom are females, that grow such type of horns. And it was just my way of saying that due to some parasitic mutation they had branches growing on their heads..it sounded better then saying that however.

    A very sweet story - especially since they did not seek revenge against the ignorant villagers. Liked this tale a lot for its rather soft side and its dedication to the more peaceful side of nature. Nice way to add them to the lore as well

      Thank you hon, It felt good to write this little legend and introduction to how Nymphs came to be and their link to Kyne. They did not seek revenge against those that persecuted them, instead simply living peacefully as playful little woodland creature..although very shy when outsiders come into their grove. Pure intention and a little music tends to draw them out .

      Hopefully it was a somewhat lore friendly way to add them to the lore !

    Such a graceful child of the wilds with a benevolence about her, was quite a touching tale you wrote of the plight of the wild Orphans, Kyne's eyes turned towards them by the call of one with a big heart, trying to keep them safe with a gift of an affinity for nature, a healing tree left were Nympheria fell, a wonderful introduction

      Thank you dear ! I'm happy you enjoyed this little "legend" introducing the nymphs and how they came to be. A young one with a big heart, thinking of the well being of the others before her very own..and Kyne's being moved by such plight, granting them this very special affinity to the nature that sheltered them all their lives. As for Nympheria, her sacrifice never forgotten while the healing tree lives.

    A very very nice little story of the Wild Orphans....the idea, as well as its execution are simply fantastic!!

    BTW. I'm just blown away by the main shot of that beautiful Nympheria. Absolutely amazing character creation, Liadys !!

      I know what you mean. When it comes to haircut i think you've made a good choice. As a Wild Orphan it would be a little out of place to give her an extravagant haicut...this one looks pretty natural. Anyway, a beautiful post !

    Lovely storytelling. Arravald needs to find this tree and play a few melodies to the memory of Nympheria. I think he's particularly smitten with these forest dwellers.
