Bow Of Shadows Highpoly WIP

in case anyone wonders, i'm going to release this one with the gray cowl, sort of "Artifacts of Nocturnal" mod with little quest and such. Scripts for functionality for both the cowl (just like oblivion) and the bow (whenever you sneak in a shadow you become invisible) already done and working just right, so shouldn't take much.

    It looks very good but why don't you add some leather details using alphas on the straps ?
    But once again, it is awesome (as always)

      basically topology has ended up a bit not-uniform and non-square on the straps so in order to get enough density for the leather detail to look right i'd have to get to a very high subd level (had to place scratches where the distortion due to non-square polygons wasn't very noticiable) and then i wont be able to get it into 3ds max smoothly for adjusting the cage. Should have done it right in the first place but for this one i'll just add the leather detail on photoshop.

      yep, but i import the highpoly into 3ds max to adjust there the cage push and export the lowpoly as sbm with the cage already setup, i guess i could do that in xnormal, but been doing that since i learned to bake so... old habits never die.

    Interesting, in addition with pairing the bow with the cowl along with a quest - wonder how this Artwork will unfold in the next update
