For they'd have her head on a pike.
She mustered all courage, and shunned all mercy
And gave it all in the fight.
Her soul full of remorse and her heart heavy
They lay beneath her feet, lifeless and bereft.
Forced to take the lives of so many,
'Tis the price she paid for the life she led.
