"The way the ancient Nords - Now Draugr respond to the presence of a Dunmer like myself.  Any Nord could trundle through a Barrow and face them, but they are ill motivated to fight and move like sloths.  But when I go in, they remember their ancient foes the Snow Elves.  I may be of a different lineage but the animosity is there.  I am not an interloper of centuries of rituals long forgotten, I am an elf intruding on sacred Nord Ground." She answered.

She grinned and spoke "They very idea of an elf like me stepping foot into the barrows infuriates them.  They fight as if it is the closing days of the Merethic Era, just as they did against the Snow Elves.  I love this animosity and the thrill of this battle.  They react and charge to me as if they are whole living men again, not men reduced to the ranks of bound soulless undead.  That the Snow Elves perished at the end of my kinds age is no surprised, they had no chance!" She spoke, trailing into slight laughter.
