Now that you mention it, it does reminds me a bit of a forest fire, especially when the trees are all naked and bare, stripped from twigs and colorful leaves by a raging fire...
This is the kind of shot I was waiting for...with Serenity colors look even more intense, the stars are barely visible Another great post-apocalyptic sky Rick!
Well, if someone knows their ENB's, it's gonna be you! And you're so right, the colours, although soft and warm, are the strongest approach with Serenity. I also like the over all darker tone of it, even the days when the sky is "normal" or more faded out. It gives the world a very earthy feeling with lots of shadows covering just about anything. It's never pitch-black, but constant dark, so to speak. I like the fact I sometimes have to tilt the camera down towards the ground to gain more colours, otherwise the brightness of the sky swallows them up. It's very close to real photography in my opinion - which I also like...
The skies are really making these shots by themselves. I just need to find the angles and the motifs...
A typical "Rik" shot with Enb. To be honest i was looking forward to these kind of shots to see the difference in Mood,.. I think i've said it before that the gain in coloring, detail and sharpness is pretty awesome,.. but especially with these kind of shots you also loose the gritty and dark atmosphere. But the fire in the sky is absolutely beautifull,...
I still agree on my Vanilla shots being more gritty or evil looking, but at the same time it's rather cool to see the change. Now some of those darker shots can be quite colourful, giving a whole new dimension to it all. But I do love my "old" shots as well and I'm still gonna try my best to achieve something close to them, even with an ENB, but I guess Serenity is just too magnificent with the colours and warmer tones...
Thank you for your always insightful comments, Erwin!
I just prefer being surprised by the game and the weather system, because it sure makes moments like this more admirable and unique. I don't play the game for screenarchery entirely, I tend to roleplay my lot of characters, so the natural change of the weather and the skies is an important part of the whole experience...
Yeah, I'm having a trouble leaving this ENB to try something else. It's rather dark during the whole day, but those skies - when they happen - are just mind-blowing. The details that are in the horizon is such a bonus for me, since I'm used to rather blurry backgrounds from my old Vanilla play...

It's so simply really, yet with that amazing crossover between Skyrim mountains and Oblivion hellfire...

Thank you for adding me as well - should've been done by us a long time ago it seems...

I'll remember the both of you are into post-apocalyptic hellish skies!

And with that I bid you good night for this time!
Thank you very much! I'm sure there are other ENB's working just as great, but since Serenity is the first "match" for me, the love is instant...
