About this image

A continuation of my series of sneak peaks at my third Skyrim mod, this new Sai will be the main weapon of this new set. It will function as a dagger ingame, but will give the new armor a unique stealthy feel.

Keep an eye out for more information about this armor in the future, and feel free to check my previous images for more sneak peaks of the armor itself!

Check my previous images, one of them shows how the armor is currently split.

I usually ask for more pieced meshes mostly because it's not nearly as easy as it was in Oblivion to fix little clipping problems and whatnot when you try to mix things together in NifSkope. Options with the hood and shoulders is cool though, is it like the Dark Illusion set from Oblivion where a hood and shoulder plates were one piece and used the helm/necklace/whatever slot?

The thing that drives me crazy is armors that are one big shape in NifSkope and can't be mixed with anything at all. The best you can do in those cases is hope to be great at Blender, or in my case...just edit the textures. XD

I can see a lot going for this set though, namely with textures. It would be relatively easy to change the metal to leather for instance. A lot of texture options sort of like Black Sacrament could be added to the armor later on, one of which I hope to contribute once it's released.

CBBE is used as a guide, but the body mod is essentially baked in. It wont matter what body type you have in this armor.

As for the pieces part, that can easily be done in 3DS or Blender, but for sake of simplicity (and my sanity) most of the armor will be one solid piece in nifskope.

That being said, of the 4 shoulder armors, the top 3 are actually part of the leather helm, as opposed to the armor. The armor is also designed to look good even without the hood.

Looking good, been waiting for a sexy, yet practical breastplate (as in everything being covered up) for the ladies (and isn't steel plate either.) I'll die if this ends up only being for CBBE or something though.

Oh, and for NifSkope mixers like myself...it would be nice if the armor was chopped up so we could mix the armor up with other pieces (like those shoulders, arms, chestpiece, hood, etc. all being separate shapes.) Or is that asking too much maybe?
