You can always make a copy of the current one and then move them around and edit them in notepad, and it does work, you just have to properly isolate what you want to move/remove.
I had to remove an outfit that had a spelling error. Maybe Ousnius can put together some kind of extra script tool that edits the osp's and the outfit order and maybe a culling tool, and maybe some kind of backup feature just for good measure.
