About this image
''These individuals do not respect nor do they answer to eachother. They see themselves as instruments of reaching their desired goals. They simply work as a group because their common goal is to overthrow the balance and natural order of things.''
Character description from left to right:
- Amaranthae is a dark elf sorceress and a very powerful conjurer. As a child, she had powerful magical outbursts which she could not control. The Elder Council made a difficult decision to imprison the child in The Ender Chambers - a dungeon for mages, and erect a powerful magical barrier that would be able to contain the unknown magic of the child. This did not last forever. During her adulthood, the strongest magical outburst happened that overthrew the barrier and devoured everyone inside the dungeon. She took the Staff of Astulius, which serves as a powerful amplifier of her already powerful magic and set out to find the origin of her powers. The Necromancer contacted her and promised her answers if she agrees to help him with the ritual. She now serves as his assistant.
- Hrungnir is the last giant. He was found frozen in an ice block in a forgotten cave by the sorceress Amaranthae. He woke up enraged after his long slumber seeking the ones responsible for the death of his battle-brothers, and immediately went for the sorceress. After a long duel, the exhausted giant finally fell to the ground. Even though he was weak at the time, he deemed her a formidable foe and decided to stick with her as long as she points him in the direction of those whose skulls needed to be bashed in. He speaks ancient Norse and Amaranthae is the only one who can understand him.
- Agazius is a necromancer of an immense power. He is ''The Doomweaver'', ''The Reanimator'', ''The Corpsemaker'', ''The Corruptor''. These are just some of the names common folk used to describe him. Sent by Zalmus, The Fallen Prince; to prepare the ritual for his summoning, he emerged from the darkness ready to bring terror and suffering upon all mankind. He is an apparition in people's dreams; he is a ghost-like shadow devouring the innocents in the dark alleyways; he is the seed of doubt twisting people's minds, rendering them useless and eventually driving them mad.
- Magnus ''The Awoken'' is Agazius' finest creation. It was brought back from the underworld to be Agazius' personal watchdog. No one ever saw its face, except the Necromancer himself. It never speaks. Whoever comes close to its master, gets cut in half. It wields a greatsword imbued with the essence of lost souls, which is another creation given to him by his master. Those who are unfortunate enough to get struck by it, get ripped apart instantly, while their screaming souls remain within the sword forever.
- Kha'tar was a former dark elf general. He fought in the Great War and emerged from it as a hero. His battle prowess and commanding skills brought many victories to the United Forces of Iquan. Unfortunately, his sense of righteousness and honor, fell under the influence of Corruption. He spent the rest of his life working as a contractor, assassinating important political figures, spreading death and destruction wherever he goes. He answers directly to Nazûl, an entity which is believed to be the originator of ''The Brotherhood''.
- Scarlett is a notorious thief. Having been raised on the streets without parents, she was forced to steal in order to survive. Now she steals for the sake of it. As she grew up, so did her reputation as a thief. Now, her reputation precedes her wherever she goes. Bounty hunters all over Iquan are after her, Akherton's soldiers prosecute her on sight, even hired mercenaries. She is believed to be the first thief to have ever snuck into Akherton's College for Wizards and stolen the Archmage's temporal glimmerdust. She keeps it fastened on her belt at all times. It allows her to manipulate time, which makes her impossible to be seen, let alone caught.
