   I kinda skimmed and was like wait, what? Then I read properly and can't say I disagree with a single thing you've said. Shame to feel like a lot of hard work has been kinda shut down because one can't trust randoms, but that's just how it goes. Looks like you should be proud of what you managed anyways.
