Great lighting in a lot of ytour images here,.. and a great play with (natural) backgrounds also,..especially like your blond lady. She has beauty aswell a determination.

Thank you! I've gotten a lot of mileage out of Zea. Part of an experiment to see if I could visibly age a character over the course of a game. Every couple of levels she'd get more weather-beaten and muscly. This version is from about the halfway mark, before things got dangerously unstable, I got indecisive about my load order, and I swapped things out for a fresh start. Recently I've been experimenting to see just how many diverse characteristics I can apply to her base sculpt.

I have always loved making mashups. The pauldrons, tassets, abs, spines, gorget thighs etc from these sets are phenomenal. I don't think I would ever use any of the bikinis (I couldn't take my character seriously), but I have started overwriting their meshes with my own projects so it's a win win

That's some next level modification there, Will! Holler at me if you ever need any outside outfit testing... Mashups make my little world go 'round.

I just make my mashups in-game for the most part. I use Outfit Studio to fix clipping and such, but also to take interesting parts from other armours and make them standalone items in my game. Rather than crack open the CK, I just find something lame (like a bikini or panty) and overwrite the meshes with my new project then rename the item and change the slot number

Groovy, thanks for the info. Clever way of getting new/smashed items into the game. I really need to learn how to use Outfit Studio. I have a feeling that might become a dangerous new pass-time.

It's a mashup of the Steel and Plate sets from nise's mod, pants from zzJay's (follow the links in the set) some parts from Misfit Mage, and probably some other stuff I'm forgetting now.

I've always been disappointed when people avoid typically nsfw mods due to what they see from the surface. I've done a few rants on it in the past :P There's a lot you can do with building blocks like these and it's a shame to see people act so negatively about them. You're right though, with your notes towards the end. It's definitely a huge grey area.

Thanks for your eloquent words. I agree. Subverting a harmful trope can often be far more powerful than simply ignoring it, especially when the trope in question emanates from the mores of the dominating culture. We are modders after all- folks who by definition don't settle for what's handed to us and are willing to put in a bit of extra elbow grease to get a game/photography studio set up to suit our own personal preferences and whims. There's a lot to be done with mashups, creative juxtaposition and framing in shots, choice of subject matter, etc. to mod the very culture of gaming. But yeah, it sure does get foggy fast out here in the gray areas that lurk around the edges of popular culture.

Maybe the whole point of the bikini mod is to make your character either look ill protected or invite mashing it up with more realistic armours

    Looking good

For sure, and it's that diversity that is its strength. That and ridiculously overpowered tempering bonuses.

Bits and pieces from here and there add up to some pretty sweet looking armor.
