I adore your writing, and your ability to weave pure magic into your words. The richness, the yearning, the weight of the characters' emotions and thoughts - it's so clear. Once again Kayol... I'm speechless.

Headed to Solstheim I gather. Alas our poor characters seldom seem to rest. Always another adventure, wanted or not, on the horizon. Being blind I imagine this is going to be difficult. She has already had one mind invasion ... worries me about Mirak. The daughter seems to be living a somewhat innocent life - rather unaware of some realities. Then again not everything, everywhere, is filled with bad things. Curious where this will go. Excellent writing - love the poetic feel to it.

Yes, for now I want to keep little Oak on the Ignorant Island of Happiness - let her have fun for a moment or two. Meanwhile, her parents will do what they do best: get into trouble. As for Miraak - I have a couple of different ideas, so I shall throw them at the storyline as it fleshes out and see which one sticks to the wall. But I promise, I will not let anyone be possessed again! That pony did its trick, it's time to lay it to rest...
      Thanks for the comment!

It is wonderful how you weaved in the symbolism of the wind throughout this chapter, likening it to that undefinable something that leads people to take on a journey whether they want to or not, not always leading them to where they expect or want to go. I very much enjoy how you bring out all kinds of little details in your words and it was very lovely to see those warm, tender moments between Larkspur and Saga along a journey they did not expect to make, seems that adventure is not quite ready to let them go. It was also nice to read that letter Oak sent to her parents, seeing what she is up to, her words really show her youthful view of things. Wonderful work once again, my friend. I wish you much success in your completion of university

I'm really glad you liked the story, thank you! Yes, the old couple is back in business - and I even have the story somehow planned! It has to wait till summer, of course, since my MA needs to be finished and approved before June. I still wanted to write something, though, and I thought of this little story, a continuation of the previous installment and the premise for the point when the action finally starts (or not).

Thank you for the good wishes! I really can't wait for the end of this crazy ride...

The wind - as well as words - can also embrace you and gently let you drift away into memories or worlds of others. This "scribbling" is marvellous and every time I read one of your chapters, I get the urge to start writing myself...again and again. I love your poetic and melancholic tone, the conversations are so natural and fluent and every image makes sense! A true pleasure as always, dear Kayol!

      Glad you liked it!

Also, if you feel the urge to write - do it. This is the kind of indulgence you can never regret. If the mind wants to utilise the ideas, you should follow suit

Beautiful set. The imperfections make them beautiful each other with your own history, troubles and victories. The elf interacting with her is very cute.

Fantastic work as always! Your style of writting is very natural and interesting and it's pretty hard to accomplish, so you've done everything well x)
