Well stone me, nice to see your work around these parts again! Love your articles on subsurface scattering, etc. over on your blog- they've learned me a thing or three about portrait photography. And this is just a lovely shot. Great assemblage of interesting shapes with pitch-perfect tonal balance in the colors.

I'm pretty happy with this one myself - I'm especially fond of the composition. Oh, and good to know that someone finds the text posts interesting or useful - they rarely get much response, but I'm mainly posting them for my own future benefit to be honest.
Well I sure read 'em! You've helped me understand so much more about the way simulated light interacts with simulated bodies- to the extent that it's gotten me actively interested in how real light acts in the real world.
